Do my guests need to install an app?

No. Guests open your event link or scan the QR code in any phone browser, take or pick a photo, and get their framed photo back in seconds. Nothing to install and no account to create.

How long does it take to set up an event?

Most organisers are live in under five minutes: create the event, upload your frame (or generate one with AI), then share the link or print the QR code.

What happens to the photos my guests upload?

Accepted Answer

Photos are deleted automatically at the end of your plan's retention window — 7 days on the Free trial, and your choice of 30, 60, 90 or 180 days on paid plans. Original uploads stay in private storage and only the framed result is shareable. You can delete an event and its photos at any time.

Can I run a single event without a subscription?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Single Event pass covers one event with 2,000 photos and no recurring charge. The Free plan is a one-time trial with one event and 100 photos so you can test everything first.

Which photo formats do guests get?

Accepted Answer

Four: Square (1:1), Portrait (4:5), Story (9:16) and Landscape (16:9). Guests can generate the sizes they need and each format gets its own share link.

Do I need my own frame design?

Accepted Answer

Only if you want one. You can upload your own PNG frame, pick from the frame library, or describe what you want and let AI generate a branded frame for you.

Can I use my own branding?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Upload your logo or frame artwork and add a custom caption and hashtags on any plan. A custom watermark (your logo or text on every photo) is available on Starter and higher. Every framed photo also carries a small “Powered by SnapUtsav” credit.

Which currency will I be charged in?

Accepted Answer

Prices are shown in your local currency where we support it — euro, US dollar or Indian rupee — based on where you visit from. Your currency is fixed to your account at your first paid purchase so later invoices stay consistent.

What if we run out of photos during the event?

Accepted Answer

Buy a photo pack add-on of 2,500 photos and the new limit applies to your event immediately, so guests can keep uploading without waiting for a plan change.

Can I use more than one hashtag?

Accepted Answer

Yes, up to five hashtags per event. They are pre-filled together with your caption every time a guest shares their photo.

Do all guest photos become public?

Accepted Answer

No. The public photo wall is optional per event, and it only shows uploads you have approved, so nothing appears publicly without your say.

Is it GDPR compliant?

SnapUtsav is operated from the Netherlands by Wolkn Minds. Guest data collection is optional and configurable per event, photos expire automatically, and our GDPR page documents the controller and processor roles.
